RV Park Rules and Policies

Firewood Alert: Firewood from other areas is prohibited. Do not bring firewood from home, only purchase local firewood. This is required to protect our forests and prevent the spread of the emerald ash borer, and other forest pests from one area to another.

Open Year Round with Summer/Winter Camping Seasons:

Summer: April 1st -October 31st

Winter: November 1st-March 31st

Check in Time: 1:00 p.m.

Check out Time: 12:00 p.m. (noon)

Payment and Refund Policy

There is a 3 day minimum required for all Holiday weekends.

There is a 2 day minimum required for all Special Events Weekend reservations.

This includes the Car Show, Master Musicians Festival and The Gospel Fanfare.

A 1 night non-refundable deposit fee of $33.09 will be charged to your credit card for all reservations to hold your spot, that amount will then be applied to your total campsite price upon arrival.

You must either call in case of emergency or arrive by the end of the day on the 1st date of your reservation. If you do not, your spot may be rented again due to non contact or non-arrival.

Drive ins are welcome depending on site availability.

Longer term stay type occupancies will need to be discussed either in person or by calling (606)219-3290 as there are certain requirements pertaining specifically to a longer-term stay.

Returned check fee of $50.00 will be applied to any and all NSF checks.

Spot Requirements:

1 Camper or RV per spot. 1 Vehicle per spot, other vehicles may need to park elsewhere unless they fit on the site without blockage of roadways.

No boat storage, temporary may be possible if it fits on the spot or overnight in another area agreed upon by owner.

2 adults and 2 children per site. Extra persons on site will be charged an extra $2.00 per night.

Owners absolve themselves of any liability to any camper or guest and are not responsible for any personal or property damages due to theft, fire accident, force of nature or act of God. Immediately report any theft of property or damage to 911 and the local authorities

Other Rules:

Warning: There can be strong winds in this area during storms, so tend to your awning, Unless it is automatic, do not go off and leave it extended as storms can appear suddenly.

Please respect and stay out of other guest’s site areas and do not block roads with your vehicles. We expect everyone to simply be an adult, be courteous and we do not like to make rules but almost everyone of the following have been issues that we have had to address before.

Please do not attempt to move the picnic tables and fire pits without permission. They are placed where they are for a reason. Please do not build a fire anywhere except in the provided fire pit. Umbrellas for the tables have been provided for your use, if high winds occur, please lower and tie umbrella to prevent damage to it and keep it from blowing away. We also ask you to please lower and tie your umbrella before retiring for the night.

Speed Limit—5 miles per hour on campground property. No ATV’s, four wheelers, mini bikes or dirt bikes are allowed to be ridden in park. Motorcycle’s are allowed only for entering and exiting purposes. Golf carts and scooters are allowed to be used but not for joy-riding. Bicycles may be ridden if done so responsibly and with respect to others.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. That adult is responsible for those children and must make sure that they obey the rules. Please attend to your child for their own safety and out of respect to others.

Quiet Hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. – all visitors must leave the park by 11:00 p.m. Disorderly or immoral conduct, abusive/foul language, drunkenness or being inconsiderate to others will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave the park.

Pets must be leashed at all times, pet owners are responsible for clean-up and noise control of their pet. No vicious or extremely noisy pets will be allowed to remain in park. Pets are not to be left unattended tied outside of the camper when you are away. No fencing or cages are to be made on your campsite. Pets must have current vaccinations. If pet rules are not followed and after a couple of warnings especially on the leash rule you will be asked to leave the park.

Use of firearms is prohibited.
